She was a jazz pianist in the 1960s who wanted nothing to do with the spotlight. Then a friend played her "Pet Sounds," and she was inspired to enter the pop music world with her jazz and classical cred in tow. She recorded "Take a Picture," widely heralded as one of the best pop albums of all time- then, radio silence. Some 30 years later, her music began to take on a second life as a cult following developed. Today my friends Mike and Andrew join me to discuss her music, and to interview her step son, Jonathan Rosner, who sheds some light on her mystique. A must for all fans of 60s and 70s pop perfection!
