Heatwarmer is a progressive pop trio that originated in Seattle. They say their biggest influence is Star Wars, and they have a new EP called "Electric City." In recent years, the members have been spread out between Seattle, New York and Los Angeles, but just after reconvening to record new material they found themselves confined to Washington state during the onset of the 2020 pandemic. Markly chats over face time with Luke Bergman, Aaron Ottheim and Evan Woodle about how they operate remotely, their long-standing free-jazz open mic sessions, films, musical influences, and all things Heatwarmer.
"Electric City," their latest album recorded after remote collaborative songwriting.
Their previous album "Here Comes The Band," featuring their crowd favorite "American Dog" and album art by Shana Cleveland.
